Amidst cherry blossoms, DryDel Shipping celebrated the Naming & Delivery of its newest vessel, MV Super Dry

Built by OSHIMA SHIPBUILDING CO.,LTD., this 42,500 DWT vessel represents the latest ECO design in the Handymax sector, offering enhanced operational flexibility & optimized performance.

This delivery marks the first out of 4 Japanese N/Bs expected to join the DryDel fleet within the first half of 2026, further strengthening our presence in the hashtag#drybulk market.
Our fleet modernisation & renewal continues at pace, with the average age of the fleet expected to fall below 3.5 years.

Our remaining N/B Programme comprises 10 dry bulk vessels, ranging from Handymax to Capesize, expected to be delivered within the next 2 years.

Our fleet modernisation & renewal continues at pace, with the average age of the fleet expected to fall below 3.5 years.

For more than 15 years, DryDel has consistently supported Japanese shipbuilding, valuing our long-standing partnerships, their craftsmanship & reliability - a commitment that will continue to shape our fleet strategy going forward.

Everyone was there - our CEO, Costas Delaportas, the Shipbuilder, our esteemed Financiers, our Japanese partners, and the dedicated DryDel Shipping Team.

We would like to thank all parties involved in bringing this project to life. Wishing M/V Super Dry safe voyages and successful operations ahead!
